Michelle Keegan was supported by her husband Mark Wright during her professional football debut at Crawley FC over the weekend.
The footballer who became a television star provided an update on his father’s health and shared his thoughts on Instagram after the match.
He wrote, along with a picture of himself taken at the stadium: “A day I will never forget!
“I turned 33 today, and after a lot of work and hours of extra training to make it possible for a few minutes, I made my pro debut against Leeds United giant.

“To make it even more special, my brother and best friend also debuted at @ official # crawleytownfc today. Being with him will be a moment our family will cherish forever.
The presenter went on to say: “But most importantly, the boys who started the game were really great. They beat the very strong Leeds United team 3-0 and they were all startled.
“I’m very proud to call it a Crawley player. Thank you for all your support,” he concluded.
Mark’s wife Michelle, 33, is one of the first to comment on the post and is in a rush to show support for the other half.
She erupted with “What a day” with a raised emoji and a red love heart emoji.
The rest of Mark’s family said, along with his brother Josh Wright: “It deserves to work hard and be determined.
“I can’t wait for the rest of the trip. I love you brother x.”
Cousin Elliott Wright said: “I’m so proud. The memories of the kids playing in the garden realize and cherish every moment in their lives as they watch them play a pro game together. It’s too short…
“Playing as a child and pretending to inspire… actually making things together in the same field.. Special X and how successful it was.. Good job!!”
Proud mother Carol put it this way: “My sons were proud and delighted to be mom xx.”
Mark, who appeared in Good Morning Britain on Monday, said of his debut: “It was a really amazing moment. Of course, there are only a few minutes left.
“But to be part of the team that squad and I’ve been playing together for three months.
“It was a surprise to see the boys perform like that, because you immediately achieved that symbiosis.
