Dancing On Ice has had quite a lot of gory moments over the years, and in the opening episode tonight we saw Rebekah Vardy spread the face of skating partner Andy Buchanan.
Five moms who hit soccer players who broke the Covid-19 rules were busy rehearsing and accidentally stuck their blades in Andy’s face while trying to flip.
Andy’s face began to bleed and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 38-year-old was terrified by the incident and told the camera “I can’t explain how he was hurt.”

When the two finished the show, host Holly Willoughby asked Andy how he had been after the incident.
The pro skater replied, “It’s okay, this is what we do and it’s dangerous. She wants to push it and so is I.”
Viewers were shocked by the incident and shared their opinions via Twitter.
One wrote: “I couldn’t dance on the ice. I’m going to live my life with injuries on shows over the years.”
Another fan said, “I’m seeing you dancing on the ice. I’ve been injured somewhat this year. I still love this show!” said another fan.
Another Twitter user said, “I just watched the first episode of Dancing on Ice. A skating accident forced two people to go to A and E.
“Our NHS is currently behind capacity. Skate is definitely not a must right now!! #DancingOnIce.”
Rebecca was announced as part of the lineup of the year at Good Morning Britain in September.
Regarding her appearance, she said: “My dad taught me how to skate when I was 7 years old.
The I’m A Celebrity star admitted that she was worried about’wetting herself’ went on to say: “I’m really really excited about it. Since then, the only time I’ve been ice skating is when I take my kids to the ice rink. Christmas.”
When asked what her husband Jamie Vardy thinks about participating in the show, the brunette beauty said, “I think he’s a really great idea.
“He said he really wants to see me and hopes he doesn’t fall too much.”
