Chase’s loyal viewers were left “hot” after ITV decided not to air on Wednesday due to coverage of President Joe Biden’s US inauguration ceremony.
The game show featuring a new squeezer called Darragh Ennis won’t be airing on Wednesday and fans will have to wait for the next fix until Thursday.
Like The Chase, Tipping Point does not air as planned.
Instead, the broadcaster decided to broadcast the inauguration of the new president Joe Biden.

ITV News says, “As Joe Biden becomes President of the United States, ITV News will be making live broadcasts. @tombrady announces in Washington, DC. Watch from 3:30 PM.”
However, fans were dissatisfied with the news and turned to Twitter to express their frustration.
One fan said, “I know it only happens once every four years, but it’s still a big inconvenience for us who like afternoon TV quiz shows.”
The angry viewer wrote, “There is no chase tonight due to the inauguration of the bidet. Nobody cares! @ITV @TheChase” wrote by the angry viewer. [sic]

Third addition: “Why f*** is ITV dealing with Biden’s inauguration? Who is offering af***? More importantly, they’re dropping’The Chase’!”
A fourth Twitter user said, “I just sent my mom the news that Chase is not attending tonight because of the inauguration. livid is not a word.”
Anne Hegerty, also known as’The Governess’, star of the show, recently revealed about the program and shared views on the new Chaser joining the ranks.
So far, Darragh, named’The Menace’, has been highly praised by viewers, and 62-year-old Anne seems to agree.

The Chase first aired on ITV in 2010, and on the show, four strangers work as a team, answering common knowledge questions while also confronting the clock and the pursuers.
