Celebrities pray and demand accountability for victims of Ghotki train crash

On Monday, two passenger trains collided near Daharki in Ghotki, killing at least 55 and injuring nearly 100. People across Pakistan, including celebrities, have used social media to express solidarity with the victims and urge the government to hold those accountable.

The accident occurred around 3:30 AM after the Millat Express train from Karachi to Sargoda derailed and collided with a Sir Syed Express train coming from Rawalpindi near Raiti train station.

After the incident, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched an investigation into the railway safety fault.

When the news of the tragedy spread, celebrities denounced the incident through social media and shared their thoughts and prayers with the family of the deceased, hoping for a speedy recovery of the injured. Some have also demanded that those responsible be held accountable.
